Visited this place on the second day of reopening of the full renovations, 10/10 for the renovations and 10/10 on the food menu. I had the $20 lunch steak special, was cooked perfectly and so tender and partner had the $20 beef rib lunch special, again so tender and flavoursome with the sauce. Again 10/10 for the food we had. Keep up the good work people, we will be back.
We recently held a small, informal 80th birthday celebration in the courtyard. The staff were incredibly accommodating and service was excellent. They were only too happy for us to bring our own cake. Nothing was too much trouble. The kids play area was a massive hit with the younger children, and the large screens showing the Broncos match a hit with the tweens/teens. Highly recommend.
What an incredible first night back at the newly refurbished Lord Stanley in East Brisbane! The place looks amazing – fresh, modern, and much more family friendly.
The atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. We ordered steaks and they were cooked to absolute perfection, just as we asked. The food overall was excellent.
The staff were super friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of the reopening – such a great achievement for opening night.
Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back next week!
We enjoyed a delicious meal for lunch. The portion sizes were very generous and reasonably priced. The kids had a great time in the kids room while we waited for our meals. The wait time was minimal and once served the meals were amazing.
The staff were kind and attentive, clearing tables and glasses at regular intervals. The whole venue was beautiful and very clean.
This is a wonderful place to dine, especially with the recent renovations. The meals are amazing, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The service is excellent, and the new kids’ playground makes it perfect for families. Highly recommended!
We commemorated a loved one’s passing who is no longer with us. It’s always a difficult but important thing to do, and we were treated with such care by the staff. We were given a complimentary entree which was such a nice touch, it was no problem for us to bring our own cake, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
We absolutely loved the amazing vegan menu (thank you!!!), the kids zone was an absolute hit with our son who didn’t want to leave, and it was amazing afterwards to watch the final game of the baseball World Series on the enormous screen!
Parking was fantastic, the landscaping is beautiful, and the sound levels were low so we could chat easily.
My brother remarked it was the best pub meal he’s had in ages and we all agreed we’ll be back!
